It is a fun, and fantastic place. People are so warm and welcoming in 'The Art World'. They really care about people.
In my twenty-five years of trying to get into the art world, mostly it has been emotionally as cold as the planet Hoth.
I have met some super nice people, though, I will say that.
But most of time, the reaction to me or my art is, "Brrrrrrrrrrrr...."
Anyway, I am going to write about 'The Art World'. I've monitored it for many years, and I may as well put my findings on a stupid blog.
First of all, 'The Art World' is concerned with business. They aren't doing it for the art, but they are doing it for the cha-ching, the cash. In my opinion, they could give an F about art. They are only interested in how much money that art will make them.
Believe you me, there is money to be made, which is why they do what they do.
I will never be a part of their 'art world'. I feel rejected by it. I feel hurt. So, why would I want to be a part of something that has disdained me so many times? Why would I even care?
I feel numb from the whole thing, and the only way for me to feel alive again, and about my art is to do things my own way.
I have another blog called, "Rebel Art Outpost", and that blog kind of got me going on what I wanted to do. I had to redefine myself, and my activities. I feel really good about what I am doing now. I feel that I have a purpose, which is something 'the art world' could never give me.
Anyhow, what they do is business, and what I do is business, so here is a blog. Let's see what happens.
At the very least, I'll get a couple of hits for creating a new blog, and the money I earn will be deposited in my account.....bru haha haha ha.
Someday I would like to have my own gallery, and just put my own art in it, and do it my way. I don't care what people think anymore. What they think doesn't apply to me whatsoever.
I will tell you about the day 'the art world' will be interested in me. It will be the day when I can make them money. Like I said before, they could give an 'f' about anything else...otherwise,...they'd be artists, not 'art world' people.
